This is a cute movie that I remember seeing during a free preview weekend for HBO or Showtime so many years ago. It's got a pixie'd Marisa Tomei, as well as a young, pre-rehab, but post-drug addiction (and without the crazy eye wrinkles) Robert Downey Jr. It's completely clichéd, and loaded with sap, but it's got Bonnie Hunt, so it's okay in my book. Norman Jewison directs, best known for films like Moonstruck, Agnes of God, Fiddler on the Roof and In The Heat of the Night. This film does have a sort of Moonstruck-y vibe, focusing on mysticism and Italy, but that's where the comparison ends. It's not Moonstruck, but it's a fun film nonetheless, if you can stomach it's charms, and learn to love Bonnie Hunt. I did, and life's been vunderbar ever since...
Side Note: It's also got Fisher Stevens, best known, recently, for his role in LOST as Minkowski, the guy who's brain explodes from time travel.
Buy - Sure, why not...
